ABOUT RUDI BLOSS 

 

I have worked for over three and a half decades in animation. My real passion is painting, and I launched myself this year into a fine art career.

 

My characters often have a whimsical appeal that can be found in animation. My designs, shapes and colors are heavily influenced by the “Bauhaus” movement. You can also find a strong cubism style influence in my work.  

 

My first series of paintings is based on water creatures and swimming pools. I am a passionate swimmer. Water for me has a nearly spiritual meaning. Water means life. And besides that, it is a place to relax, meditate, exercise and play.
