RUDI BLOSS has worked for over three and a half decades in animation. His real passion is painting, and he has launched himself this year into this new venture.

 

His characters often have a whimsical appeal that can be found in animation. His designs, shapes and colors are heavily influenced by the “Bauhaus” movement. You can also find a strong cubism style influence in his work.  

 

His first series of paintings is based on water creatures and swimming pools. Rudi is a passionate swimmer. Water for him has a nearly spiritual meaning. Water means life. And besides that, it is a place to relax, meditate, exercise and play.
